TerraTherm processor technology plays a key role in the project funded by the United States to clean up contamination in the area in Da Nang airport - which used to be used to store and load chemical defoliants in war in Vietnam.

USAID is working closely with the Government of Vietnam and other contractors to carry out this project in 2016. USAID selected mine heat absorption technology (IPTD) of TerraTherm to handle the about 73.000m block of land and mud at the Da Nang airport.

The statement also said IPTD technology is able to use safe and effective handling contaminated soil to meet the Vietnamese cleaning standards as has been demonstrated in similar sized projects in the United States. TerraTherm company is working with Krüger / VWS-VN to implement this project.
